Tornado Camps are offered to 4th-12th grade boys and girls. All camps are open to the public; you do not need to be a Tornado club member in order to participate in any of our camps. We offer camps for all skill levels. Beginning to intermediate volleyball players would benefit from our All Skills Camp as we target all the basic fundamentals: passing, setting, serving, hitting, team offense and team defense all in one camp.
Phase one is the Twister Tots Introduction: Phase one is a volleyball development program for Kindergartners through third graders. Twister Tots volleyball works on court related movement, trajectory of ball and timing. Underhand serving will be introduced, catch and throw (setting) and catch and release (passing).
This volleyball program is perfect for players (6th –11th grade) who are looking for more individual skill development combined with improving an understanding for team strategies and training. Practice will run twice a week, with three scheduled scrimmages.
Texas Tornados Volleyball Club is a select volleyball program for ages 12 through 18. You must try-out and be selected in order to participate in this program. Club Try-outs are held annually in July. All teams are selected within 24 hours of their initial try-out.
Texas Tornados is known nationally for our discipline training and are lead by Directors, JoEllen Kliafas and Erikka Gulbranson. Club volleyball is for athletes hoping to further their career past high school or maximize their skills during their school season.
