Bailey Mulder of Angelo State was named the Lone Star Conference Defensive Player of the Week

Mulder, who made her first two starts at the libero position this past week, played a major role in both of Belles wins this week to help hold opponents to a .082 hitting percentage.  The freshman tallied a team leading 47 total digs against Texas A&M-Commerce and Texas Woman's with a 6.71 digs per set average. This included a career high 30 digs in the Belles defeat of TWU.  She also added five assists to her numbers for the week.

The Houston native has 174 total digs this season and is averaging 2.35 per set.
