Texas Tornados is looking to hire the following positions for the 2013 -2014 Club Season. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for working with/coaching kids and a general love for the sport of volleyball. The traditional Club Season runs mid –November thru April with potential Post-Season play in May, June and July.

Position: Practice Court Coach

Pay: $12.00/hr

Hours: 4 -8 hours a week, 5pm – 7pm and/or 7pm -9pm, M/W or T/Th

Responsibilities: Looking for individuals who are willing to toss, chip and hit balls during practices under the direction of the head coach. No previous coaching experience required, however, must in good physical condition to be able to perform the above mentioned tasks.

Position: Head Coach

Pay: $20-25/hr. Starting wage based on previous coaching experience.

Hours: 4 hours a week, either 5pm -7pm or 7pm -9pm, M/W or T/Th, plus one to two tournaments a month (December – April). Tournaments paid for separately.

Responsibilities: Must have concrete knowledge of the game and prior coaching experience. Head Coaches will need to plan comprehensive practices that focus on both the skills of volleyball as well as game strategies. Coaches will need to have the flexibility to travel (In State) to various tournaments throughout the season.

Miscellaneous: All coaching certifications are paid for including USAV and AAU memberships, as well as Referee Certifications.
